Client Services Coordinator Job Description

Client Services Coordinator

 

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services, Inc. is in need of a client services coordinator for our Eatontown, New Jersey office. The client services coordinator is responsible for the staffing operations of the office and assisting in maintaining compliance with all regulatory and accrediting standards for home health care staffing. In addition, this position aids in staff development and recruitment.

 

Duties of Position

  1. Responsible for the coordination of client visits, maintenance, and upkeep of scheduling records and logs

  2. Communicates scheduling changes between office and field staff accurately and on a timely basis

  3. Acts as a liaison between clients and scheduled staff to communicate changes and needs

Responsibilities of Position

  1. Maintains a current client roster with necessary information

  2. Updates schedule software and applicable logs and information

  3. Prepares weekly schedule for field staff and provides copies for distribution

  4. Monitors, controls and updates schedule changes

  5. Checks compliance of visits done, and brings any scheduling problems to supervisor’s attention immediately

  6. Assists in taking telephone referrals, distributing required information to the appropriate personnel

  7. Assists in relaying messages to field staff, office staff and management regarding scheduling needs

  8. Supervises the scheduling of replacement workers as needed and the input of the scheduling information

  9. Advises appropriate clinical staff of new cases and the personnel who will complete the schedule

  10. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Conditions

  1. Position may be stressful in terms of meeting deadlines

  2. May require minimal lifting of office records and printouts

  3. Ability to handle on-call schedule, which is after work hours

Client Services Coordinator Job Requirements

  1. Must have a college degree
  2. At least 2 years of scheduling experience preferred

  3. Ability to handle on-call schedule, which is after work hours

  4. Background in home health care preferred

  5. Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to multitask

  6. Light secretarial skills and  a polite telephone manner

  7. Customer-service oriented

  8. Ability to utilize a PC, calculator, multi-line telephone and other office equipment

  9. Ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing
